The very first tooth is now worth an average of $7.17, and more than one in three parents (38%) say the Tooth Fairy leaves a little extra for that milestone.
Northeast kids are leading the way at $6.45 (+41%), but the national trend is clear: after a couple of budget-conscious years, the Tooth Fairy decided it was time for a well-deserved raise.
